The Children’s Heart Foundation is deeply personal to me and my family. For more than four years, I dedicated my career, and my heart, to the incredible Heart Warriors and Angel Families that CHF serves. Their journeys, strength, and unwavering bravery have changed me forever.

I run to give these Warriors and their families hope for a future where no baby dies from a congenital heart defect (CHD), where that fear no longer exists for children or their amazing parents.

I also run for my dad.

My amazing dad passed away in December, just two days after his 71st birthday. He was my person. Someone who made a lasting impact on everyone around him. He battled heart disease for most of his life, and ultimately, it’s what took him from us.
