For the Love of Sean

Sean Crawford was diagnosed with grade IV glioblastoma multiforme in September 2014, just 5 weeks after we were engaged to be married. His tumor resection surgery took place at the University of Cincinnati Brain Tumor Center shortly after, and only 2 weeks into his recovery from brain surgery, Sean walked in our very first Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure 5k. The following September of 2015, we found out that Sean's tumors had spread down his spinal cord, and he had only a few months left. For our second Walk Ahead, we pushed Sean in a wheelchair. Sean passed away on December 8, 2015, but we continue to Walk Ahead in his memory with hope that one day researchers at UC will find a cure.
