This year, Athletes for Hope (AFH) celebrates its 20th anniversary — and I couldn't be more proud to be part of this milestone. AFH connects professional athletes with charitable causes, empowering them to give back and inspire communities across the country.

I first joined Athletes for Hope in 2009, and the past 15+ years have been among the most meaningful of my life. I've had the privilege of helping build this organization from the inside — watching it grow, evolve, and create real, lasting change. When I reflect on what AFH has become and the collective impact our athlete members have made in communities around the world, I feel an immense sense of pride. We built this together.

Community service has always been at the core of who I am. I've seen firsthand how showing up — mentoring young people, volunteering in under-resourced communities, and lending your platform to something greater than yourself — can truly transform lives. Those experiences have shaped me just as much as any professional achievement. Athletes for Hope gave me a home for that passion, and it continues to do the same for athletes across every sport.

As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we're also looking ahead — and the next 20 years hold enormous potential. But that future depends on the support of people who believe in the power of athletes to change the world.
