How is Givi related to Qgiv?
Qgiv is an online donation and event registration platform. We developed the Givi app so organizations could provide one-click giving for their donors right on their mobile devices. If you're hosting an auction and using the Qgiv platform, Givi is the app your supporters will use to check in, place bids, and make event purchases. You may also participate by using your desktop. I forgot my username and/or password. What do I do?
Your username is the email you used to sign up for an account.
If you forgot your password, enter your username and tap the Forgot Password? link on the log-on page of the app. You’ll receive a password reset email. Click/tap the link in the email, reset your password, and you’re all set to log back in.
How do I make a donation?
Once you’ve logged in to your account, and if you haven’t already added the organization you’re donating to as a favorite, tap the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner of the screen. In the search bar, type in the name of the organization you want to give to, and then tap their name in the search results. Next, tap the green Give Now button along the bottom of the screen, and then tap the Amount field to enter your donation amount. After making any other required selections, pick a way to pay and tap Review & Confirm. You’ll briefly be taken out of the app to a review page; look over your donation details and tap Complete Gift. You’ll land on a confirmation page where you can choose to View Your Receipt or tap Take Me Home to return to the home screen in Givi.
Why am I taken to an internet browser when I donate?
Apple and Google only allow approved nonprofits to collect funds within apps for charities and fundraisers. Since we are a third party, funds must be processed outside of the app in a browser. Don’t worry, your info is still safe and secure!
How do I get a refund?
If you need to obtain a refund for one of your donations, you’ll need to reach out directly to the organization you donated to. If you’re having trouble reaching them, simply send in a support ticket via the Support button on the My Account page in Givi. We’d be happy to help get you in touch with the organization.
I don’t see my question here. What do I do? You can send in a support ticket by tapping Support in the Profile area of Givi. You’ll receive a response from one of our Customer Experience Specialists. Be on the lookout for a message coming from the “getgivi@qgiv.zendesk.com” email address.
