I have a heart for those sufferering from sexual abuse of any kind. 

My childhood was riddled with a certain form of this same tragedy that went unnoticed for approximately 4 years.  I was afraid at every turn.  I suffered from anxiety, an inability to connect with others and crippling fear of the world around me.  

My story in no way holds a candle to what those who are enslaved by sex traffickers suffer.   

I decided in 2021 to support Joy, International, annually.  It is my goal to create an event each year where I and others will have to dig deep to take on a physically strenuous task.  I have decided to stand in solidarity with those who suffer every single day.  

In 2021 I and 9 others road biked a Century from Key Largo to Key West.  It was a tough 10 hrs with a nasty headwind the entire ride.  

This year we will row on row machines.  Our goal is to keep our machines rowing for 24 solid hours.  

In this small way I STAND -- We STAND -- with those who have no hope.
