The profile picture that I use on my APDA Home page is one of the few photos I have of just my Dad and Me. You see, he was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease when I was just 2 years old and passed away when I was 14 from complications of PD. He was just 54 years old.

As I have grown older, I realized what an impact PD has had on my life. . .and still does. My older sister passed away from complications of Parkinson in 2020. Our nephew is also traveling his own Parkinson path.
