I am running the 2025 Tokyo Marathon in March, to raise funds for the MDS Foundation in memory of my brother-in-law, Bob Hill. Bob recently passed away at the age of 58 after a brief but valiant fight against a rare form of Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), known as Refractory Anemia with Excess Blasts (RAEB). His diagnosis was a devastating shock, and despite his incredible strength and determination, we lost him just seven months later.

Through this marathon, I honor Bob's legacy and support the MDS Foundation's crucial efforts in patient advocacy, professional education, and research.
