A SINGLE MOMENT can change the course of a young person's future. 

I have been supporting Haven House Services for 11 years, and it's something that I truly believe in and the results of our combined support.

Haven House steps in when kids are facing some of the HARDEST moments of their lives, and gives them HOPE, STABILITY, and the chance to move forward towards a brighter future.

This is why I have remained committed year after year - I've seen the difference Haven House makes in our youth, our community, and I'm proud to be a part of it.

About Haven House Services

Founded in 1973, Haven House Services was founded through the efforts of Reverend Al Dimmock, Judge George Bason, Margery "Margie" Scott Johnson and other Raleigh community members. They came together in 1972 after a teenage girl appeared in the juvenile court with no safe place to stay. Haven House opened in 1973. Today, Haven House Services continues to support Wake County youth after 53 years.

Haven House Services helps local youth, ages 6 to 24, through programs focused on youth homelessness, mental health, and diversion from the juvenile justice system. The funds raised in this campaign go directly to keeping youth safe and helping them find a path forward.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

$10,000 ($830/month) = Move-in expenses so 8 young adults and their small children (if applicable) can move from homelessness to housing as part of our Transition in Place program.

$5,000 ($415/month) = 50 hours of therapy for youth struggling with mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

$2,500 ($210/month) = 5 months of outreach and basic needs for 2 youth experiencing homelessness.

$1,000 ($84/month) = 1 youth can build strength, and confidence in our after-school fitness program.

$500 ($42/month) = 10 hours of mentoring and resources for youth having difficulty at home or school.

$250 ($21/month) = Safe haven for 1 night at Wrenn House for a youth aged 10-17 who is experiencing homelessness and/or in a crisis (includes shelter, food, counseling, and other support).

$100 ($8/month) = 1 hour of crisis counseling to youth and/or their families. Last year we answered nearly 1,200 crisis calls.
