When I was 6 years old, my mom, Julia, was diagnosed with MDS. Through countless treatments and procedures, a move from San Jose, CA to Wilmette, IL, and a second diagnosis of breast cancer in 2021, my mom has proven that MDS is no match for her strength and perseverance!
