I move for my amazing mom, Patt Seyller!  She was an incredible person.  The most incredible person I've ever met, and I am so blessed and thankful that God chose her to be my mom.  She loved to laugh (she thought my brother was the funniest person!) and loved her work, which was owning a ceramic tile business and working at TerraBella Lake Norman in many different positions over her 16 years there. 

Above all, she loved the Lord, and watching her faith in action has always inspired me, and is what led me to Him.  Second to that, she loved her family.  Being a grandma was the best thing ever for her, and wow, was she great at it!!  The "cousin crew" as we call them, adored her.  She had so much fun at every dinner, shopping trip, vacation, trick-or-treating, and of course Thanksgiving and Christmas.  She had a fantastic taste in music that she passed on to me :).  

Thanks to advancements in treatments for MDS, hers was well managed for about 8 years. I am so incredibly thankful for all of those wonderful years!  We lost her almost a year ago- June 24, 2025.  She is still such a presence in my life and my family's lives, that sometimes it doesn't feel like she's gone at all.  I see and feel her all around us, and I know she is with God and her loved ones and that she keeps an eye on things down here!  Mom, I know you would be proud of us walking this 5k for you, and to help support research for new treatments and a cure for MDS.  WE LOVE YOU!!!
