Thanks to your participation and support, the 23rd Annual Building Tomorrows Run and Walk raised nearly $45,000 which will directly benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families served by The Arc of Essex County.
Proceeds from the event will enable The Arc to remain agile, responsive, and innovative as we continue to navigate to our new normal. If you or your friends and family didn't have the chance to contribute prior to the event, fundraising pages will remain active for a few more weeks.
Pictures from the 2021 Building Tomorrows Run and Walk, including the winners of our photo contest, are now posted on The Arc’s Facebook page. Winners include:
- Best Virtual Team Photo: We Thought They Said Rum…, Flanders, NJ
- Most Creative Cheer Sign: The Arc's Roseland Group Home Residents
- Best Essex County Landmark Selfie: Reginald Corley, Taken at Essex County's Cherry Blossom Center
- Most Scenic Route: Lori Bogert, 13.1 Miles Along the Jersey Shore
