2019 "Friends of The First Tee"

The "Friends of The First Tee" Second Annual Golf Tournament will be held October 5, 2019 at the YMCA Par 3 "Home of The First Tee of Lakeland".  The event is a golf tournament which is comprised of three-player teams consisting of: one The First Tee Community Ambassador, one friend invited by the Ambassador and one The First Tee Junior golfer.

Your contribution to the "Friends of The First Tee" event will allow us to present up to 2 of our The First Tee juniors with college scholarships. 

Also, you will be helping provide funds that will allow youth, who normally can not participate due to the inability to pay, an opportunity to participate in The First Tee Golf and Life Skills Program.

WHAT is The First Tee ?

The First Tee, an initiative of the World Golf Foundation, mission is “To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing vales through the game of golf.” The First Tee has established Nine Core Values that represent some of the many inherently positive values connected with the game of golf: HONESTY, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, COURTESY, CONFIDENCE, SPORTSMANSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY, PERSEVERANCE, JUDGMENT.
