As you know, Jack is our Heart Warrior! Jack was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) when I was 16 weeks pregnant. Our world was turned upside down and our lives have forever been changed. He is also our hero, this little boy has been through more than what most endure in a lifetime. Jack had his open heart surgery at just 4 days old, his recovery process was extremely tough to say the least. Those were some of our darkest days as parents however we made it through with the AMAZING care team from Children's. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital and their staff. They provided us with an amazing surgeon who saved our baby's life - Dr. Overman, a place to sleep, food and great nurses who kept me sane. The staff, Ronald McDonald house and so much more helped us through our treacherous journey with Jack's open heart surgery, now I return the favor by raising money that goes directly to the CVCC floor at Children's.
