Layla underwent major surgery to untether her spinal cord and remove a lypoma from her back. Post op she was sent to the NICU. The nurses in the NICU are amazing. They took such wonderful care of our sweet girl. I'm not sure how they put up with us for 10 days, but they did and they made our stay as enjoyable as it could be. Layla's surgeon, Dr. Petronio, is amazing and one of kind. She was in the best hands for her surgery. It's been almost 3 weeks since her surgery and she's almost completely recovered. We'd like to say a big thank you to our parents and friends who provided us with many dinners and lunches while we stayed in the hospital. We are so blessed to have such loving family and friends. Layla will be crawling before we know it! Thank you for supporting our team and the NICU.
