On June 12th 2016, our twins G.G. and Wesley were born at 33 weeks after 3 days in the hospital on magnesium trying to stop labor long enough for the betamethasone shots for lung development to reach full affect. After an emergency Csection, Wesley was born not breathing. During our NICU stay we handed off our little ones to the care of AMAZING Children's nurses while we drove back and forth to see our 15 month old daughter waiting for us at home. It is a heart wrenching experience going home without your babies. After two weeks in the NICU both twins were able to come home. Wesley has made a full recovery and is a very busy 10 month old. He is crawling, standing and cruising the furniture. You would never know the rough start he had to life other than his small size (5th percentile in weight). We have continued to fight the battle of prematurity with our little G.G. and she continues to make us proud through her struggles. She always has a smile to give no matter how difficult her day has been. Children's continues to play a huge role in her life. We are forever grateful. Please help us thank them by donating!
