In November of 2015 my oldest daughter Maddie was in the Childern's ICU for a week being treated for blood clots.  While she was there, her care team was amazing.  Everyone we came in contact with made us feel like we were the only family they were dealing with, and that Maddie was thier number one priority.  They put us at ease in a really stressful time.  The doctors and nurses put a plan together for Maddie that put her on the road to recovery, and has been in the clear since, returning to all her activities with no restrictions. Since then we have been supporting Childern's and continue to with this 5k.  Grace and I will be running in thier 5K in late June as part of thier fund raiser, and ask you to make a donation to Childern's as part of our team if you are able.  It's a great hospital staff we are running to support, and thank you in advance for your support as well.
