Sixteen years ago I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation 1 at the age of three. I spent 2 years in and out of the ICU at Children's Hospital of Minneapolis while having 3 brain surgeries as well as many other tests and procedures. Today I am very thankful to be able to attend classes and participate in Division III Cross Country as well as Track & Field at Bethany Lutheran College. I would not be able to do any of those things if it wasn't for my Kind and talented doctors, nurses, surgeons, and therapists at Children's. That is why I have created this team supporting the amazing work they do. I want to help give kids in a similar situation to the one I was in the future and long life I Have been given.
