Donations made to our team will go towards the Cardiovascular Program at Children's.  

Our daughter, affectionately nicknamed "Mighty Margaret" spent the first 44 days of her life in the hospital at Children's.  She started in the NICU and was transferred to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit where she underwent 3 surgeries.  Margaret will continue to be cared for by the doctors, surgeons, nurses, therapists and specialists at Children's as she grows and even into adulthood due to her congenital heart defect (CHD).

Participating in this 5k run/walk is one small way our family hopes to begin a lifelong journey of "paying back" Children's and the heart community here in Minnesota for all of the love and support we have received thus far and will continue to receive as Margaret grows.
