Hope was born on September 3, 2013 with Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). Diagnosed during my 20 week ultrasound, she's proven to be a strong, active, feisty little girl.
She's had 2 open heart surgieries at 7 days old and again at 7 months old and through the amazing care & connections with the Chldren's Heart Clinic crew - continues to thrive and live a life UNdisrupted by her heart defect.
As she gets ready to turn 4 this year, she's 'graduated' to annual follow up visits - yet another awesome milestone! Of course she will have additional surgeries ahead but for now she is healthy and aims to explore everything this world has to offer.
