Please consider supporting the Cardiovascular Program at Children's that consists of doctors, surgeons, nurses, and therapists whose expertise allowed Luca to become the chunky, happy little boy he is today.
Luca was born with double inlet left ventricle, d-transposition of the greater arteries, and cortication. A more general term for this is hypoplastic right heart syndrome. He has successfully completed both the Norwood and Glenn procedures at Children's in Minneapolis and will have any future heart surgeries there as well.
Our family will be jogging in the 5k run/walk to provide any support we can to the cardiovascular team that saved Luca's life and will continue to ensure his health in the future as he grows up.
