The Hand UP Luncheon is United Against Poverty Orlando’s annual fundraising and awareness event dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through the power of partnership.

At UP Orlando, we provide comprehensive, wraparound services that help individuals move from crisis to stability and toward long-term self-sufficiency. These include crisis stabilization support, workforce training through the Success Training Employment Program (STEP), and access to nutritious food through the Member Share Grocery Program (MSGP).

The Hand UP Luncheon highlights these programs through real stories of resilience and success from the individuals and families we serve.

It is more than an event—it is an opportunity to learn, connect, and invest in solutions that are changing lives in our community every single day.

We are putting our full resources into supporting our community, but we can’t do it alone. Here are the ways you can join us and make an impact:

HOST A TABLE

Become a Table Host for our Hand UP Luncheon and help bring others together in support of local families, creating meaningful impact through shared participation. Table Hosts are encouraged to fill an entire table (8 seats, including themselves).  

To become a Table Host, please register under the “Table Host” option and create your team.

Once your team is created, a member of our UP Orlando team will reach with a unique promo code to share with your guests. This promo code will waive the registration cost for your guests at checkout.

As a Table Host, you will also receive special perks including:
• Premium reserved seating/table
• Table Host signage
• Recognition in the event program and on social media
• An impact card/story at your table
• A small thank-you gift
• A follow-up thank-you note after the event
• and more to come!

ATTEND AS A GUEST

Join us for our Hand UP Luncheon as an individual guest or as part of a hosted table, and be part of a powerful community effort to support local families and create lasting change.

If you are attending as an Individual Guest, you will be seated in General seating at the event. No code needed if registering as an individual guest.

If you are attending under a Table Host, please enter the promo code provided by your host in the promo code box at checkout to complete your registration.
