Tessa is 9 years old - she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on 1/29/23 after having strep throat.  We aren't sure if it is genetic or onset by sickness.  Tessa is doing amazing and is excited to step out of her comfort zone (and her parents comfort zone ha) to go to diabetes camp.  Tessa's cousin Holly is also type 1 and she said when she was a child the best weeks of her life were spent at diabetes camp. 

Please help Tessa raise money to attend. Each dollar donated goes directly to Tessa to pay for her camp.  Anything above and beyond helps to make sure ALL children that want to go can attend without worrying about the financial part.  At Camp Seale everyone has type 1 just like Tessa (campers, counselors etc.).  It is a week to be "normal" with everyone doing the same things and going through the same things as the type 1. It also allows much needed respite for mom and dad.
