Georgia was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in Kindergarten. Most people don't know this, but Type 1 is an autoimmune disease for which there is no cure and only accounts for about 10% of all types of diabetics. In spite of this, Georgia is thriving. Camp Seale Harris is a big part of that because it is the only place where she is surrounded by other T1's. Camp is a safe and sacred place for her, so we are raising funds for her to attend.
