Maddie Morris is my reason for supporting AI duPont and Nemours.   Maddie experienced severe and profound hearing loss at 18 months.  She received bilateral cochlear implants shortly after and has spent the past 18 months thriving and growing into a beautiful littler girl.  Not only does she now have the gift of hearing, she also has the gift of speech!  It has been so wonderful watching her grow and listening to that beautiful little voice!

That’s why I am running for a reason - to support clinical and research programs at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children related to hearing loss and hearing conservation for children in our community.

To support Nemours means to help provide expert care, but also allows the pursuit of life-saving research and the ability to conduct community outreach and education programs, which prevent some children from ever having to enter the hospital doors.
