Hello there Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon supporters! We have an important update to share with you.
Due to the current environment and for the safety of our bowlers, sponsors, and staff, the event planning committee has come to the decision to cancel this year's event. We were initially hopeful that by postponing the event to September that the number of COVID-19 cases would be contained, but as you know that's not the case. We hope you understand how hard this decision was to make but your health and safety is important to us!
Any and all bowler fundraising/registration fees and event sponsorships will support the mission and programs of Junior Achievement of El Paso. As you know, we've gone virtual in offering our programs to our local youth and you are supporting this initiative! If you are interested in becoming a virtual volunteer with us, please let us know! It is such an incredible rewarding experience!
We are currently in the process of securing next year's event date with the venue, so please keep an eye out as we will share the 2021 Save the Date soon!

What: The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon presented by Marathon helps Junior Achievement of El Paso raise the neccessary funds to bring JA programs into our local classrooms. JA programs teach financial literacy, workreadiness and entrepreneurship to local students from kindergarten through high school. Your participation in this premier event will allow Junior Achievement to recruit and train business and community volunteers and place them in the classrooms. These volunteers engage local youth in a curriculum that teaches them how business works and the relevance of education to a productive future.
When: Rescheduled for September 12th &13th (Saturday & Sunday)
How: A team is made up of FIVE players and the total team registration fee is $100 per team ($20 per bowler). Inquire if your company will sponsor your team's registration fees.
Each team member them commits to raising at least $100 in donations for JA from family, friends, colleagues and the community through on-line fundraising and personal asks. It's as easy as asking 10 people for $10. IT'S THAT EASY! Each team should have a collective team fundraising goal of $500 minimum.
Where: The 2020 Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon presented by Marathon will be held at Bowl El Paso 11144 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935 and your team will be bowling for 2 hours starting as early as 10:30 am.
Bowling Times: Be sure to speak with your Company Coordinator or Team Captain to find out your team bowling time.
