Hello, as the marketing and development manager for Junior Achievement in northwestern Wiscsonin, I see the power of people who are involved in our communities whether they give of their time and/or provide monetary donations to help us fulfill our mission. Junior Achievement's misson is simple . . . To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
It's the stories of students who open up IRA's in high school after participating in a personal finance class, or a student who runs into their volunteer in the community after after particpating in an etnrepruerniship class, and shared with the volunteer because of her she changed she career path. These are signicant ways JA can help guide our youth by providing them the tools needed for them to be successful in their future.
Your investment will help JA continue to impact more kids this school year. In northwestern Wiscosnin students in grades 2-12th have the opportunity to recieve JA curiculum in the classroom. The teacher requests are rolling in and we expect to reach 16,000 students this school year, but we can't do it withou tthe necessary funds to purchase JA kits and dollars are needed need to recruit and train volunteers to deliver JA in the classroom. It's not an easy task, but with your help, we can keep the JA Promise to deilver our hands-on curicullium to them in the areas of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness.
