I have had the pleasure to meet Dr. Brodsky, who is the founder of Joy International, and talk to him personally on different programs they are actively working on.  His organization leads other countries and the United States law enforcement teams to rescue girls that are forced into sex trafficking. The girls that are rescued are from the ages of 4-25. After the girls are rescued, Dr. Brodsky has programs in place to reintegrate them back into society. God put this non-profit on Dr. Brodsky's heart 40 years ago and seeing the pain of God's children is what keeps him motivated to rescue as many as possible.  Outside of these programs, he also has other programs that helps families with their basic needs to keep their children out of danger. He also has another initiative that is near and dear to my heart, he is working on building a dormitory in a Uganda village next to the school for the young children. This area in Uganda has a high rate of kidnappings and the dormitory will help reduce the danger of the young children by reducing the number of miles they have to walk to school. So, I am asking you to give what you can for the Barefoot Mile in support of Joy International as I will be doing the same, and I am walking the barefoot mile too!
