I’m so excited to be running the 2026 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon in support of Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, an organization dedicated to advancing research and improving the lives of those impacted by spinal cord injuries.

I’m raising money in honor of my brother-in-law, Jake Anderson, who sustained a C4-C5 spinal cord injury in a diving accident in 2014.

Jake has shown me what it means to keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles life puts in your way. His strength, determination, and ability to take on every challenge are a huge part of what inspired me to take on this marathon.

And the best part - Jake will be taking on the Twin Cities Marathon too! He’ll be racing in his custom-built hand trike, captained by my husband and his brother, Zach Anderson. Getting to share the course with them makes these 26.2 miles that much more meaningful.

I’m raising funds to support Unite 2 Fight Paralysis and the incredible work they’re doing for the spinal cord injury community. Every donation, no matter the amount, gets me closer to my goal and helps support this important cause.
