I'm honored and thrilled to be asked to play in the PTATC and am even more excited to fundraise on behalf of The Children's Hospitals and Clinics of MN.   Our donations, both large and small, all help Children's to continue their pediatric cancer research program. We are truly lucky to have an institution the caliber of Children's so close to home.  Supporting Children's has always been important to me as my daughter, Sabine, spent three years of her life being diagnosed and then cared for by Children's.  From the very first meeting (90 minutes!) with Dr. Kurachek I was blown away by his knowledge, his ongoing research and his desire to see my daughter healthy.  I credit Children's 100% for Sabine's health; her breathing issues are far behind her. Please help in whatever way you can so that other parents will be also be able to point to their healthy child and say, "We were so lucky to have received care."

Fundraising aside, I also invite you to join me in August to watch the best players in Minnesota compete for this great cause. The weekend is always filled with food, beer, tennis, smiles and wonderful people.  And who knows, if you are lucky you might see me and my partner, Jessica Becker, out on the court winning a point or two.
