My name is Paula Rincon and I am a former Gopher from Spain. I love playing tennis and I love helping others. While being a student-athlete I had the opportunity to participate in a lot of volunteering events and I loved it. I got to play and hang out with a lot of kids that are part of the Hope Kids program, and I also had the chance to go to the Children's Hospital and play with the kids there. It is one of the most fulfilling activies I have ever done.
Now that I am not a student-athlete, I want to keep looking for opportunities to give back to the community and help others, and what a better way to achieve this than by playing the sport I love.
