Thanks for taking the time to check my profile! As I learned more about Childhood Cancer I decided this was a cause I wanted to fundraise for. Here are some facts:
1) Worldwide 300,000 children are diagnosed with Cancer each year
2) In the U.S more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease
3) Only 3 new drugs have been approved that were specifically developed to treat children with cancer
4) Less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget is solely dedicated to childhood cancer research.
