Through relevant, authentic, and experiential financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs, Junior Achievement of Northern California is inspiring a generation to be financially capable and prepared for career success. With the help of volunteer role models, education and business partners, JA equips these young people with the tools to solve problems creatively, manage risk effectively, and welcome opportunity. Together we are building a bridge from the classroom to the boardroom.In the most recent 2016-17 school year, JA of Northern California inspired and prepared over 83,000 young people to build an entrepreneurial mindset, develop financial and workplace skills, and begin their journey on the path toward financial capability and success. Volunteer role models from our business partners and community taught over 2,900 classes and provided more than 500,000 instructional hours .
