My Personal Fundraising Page

For the first time in 48 years I am without a pet.  I am walking in memory of Teddy, Henry, Gator and Maggie.  All were remarkable rescues whose antics still make me smile. 

Eugene O'Neill writes that it would be a poor tribute to the memory of our dogs – or cats - never again to have a pet.  Rather, they would want us to feel that once having had them in our families, we now cannot live without another.  I hope soon to meet a new best friend at the SPCA.

But I know that each of the 4,000 animals adopted every year must be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, fed, housed, and often treated for illnesses or injuries that their adoption fees do not begin to cover.  I hope you will make a donation, so that animals like Teddy, Henry, Gator and Maggie can receive the care they need to be re-homed to loving families.

Any amount will help make a difference to at least one homeless animal.
