When Callen was 4 weeks old, he was diagnosed with a critical congenital heart defect called Coarctation of the Aorta. He had emergency surgery to repair the defect, and spent the next week in the Cardiovascular Care Center of Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. That week was life changing for our family, and we owe so much to the amazing staff of the CVCC.
