Our first grandchild, Marshall, was born at 23.4 weeks on July 14, 2015. Words cannot adequately describe the emotions of the first days and ensuing 4 months in the hospital. We are so grateful that our little micro-preemie treasure will be soon celebrating his third birthday. Marshall, the medical teams and Children’s Minnesota, as well Marshall’s parents, Jeff and Misty, are all AMAZING, and it is with all of them in our hearts that we join the Walk for Amazing.
Please consider a donation to our team. One unique feature of this year’s fundrasing, is that team members can designate a department within Children’s that their money will support. I have chosen the NICU; it is my hope that more NicView cameras can be purchased so during the difficult times when parents are unable to be in the hospital room, all NICU rooms will have access to NicView cameras so all parents have the opportunity to visually monitor their babies rather than currently having to take turns for that wonderful technology.
