August's care at Children's began at birth, when he moved from the Mother Baby Center to the Special Care nursery at Children's. After a few short days, he was ready to come home and meet his big sister! As the months progressed, it became clear that August's development wasn't following the typical trajectory. He began therapy at Children's while seeking a diagnosis. Eventually, with the help of the fabulous genetics team, August was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome, a genetic condition that can have a wide range of effects on many systems of the body. Through Children's, August will be touched by cardiology, endocrinology, audiology, genetics, and developmental pediatrics. Our family feels so blessed to have received such amazing care, and we are thankful to Children's for the support that they have provided to us and to so many other families. How lucky we are!
