Exactly a year ago my youngest daughter, Neala, had open heart surgery at Children’s Hospital Minneapolis. Unless you catch a glimpse of her scar as she chases her friends around the playground, you would never imagine that she was full of tubes and stitches a short 12 months ago. Our experience with the Children’s Hospital was AMAZING! We felt safe, confident and even moments of joy during our 4-day stay in the Cardio NICU. Last June we were cheering when Neala walked to few steps down the hallway to the treasure box. This year we will be cheering for her as she Walks for Amazing! We are endlessly grateful.
