Samantha's Story
Samantha was born extremely prematurely at 23 weeks along in the pregnancy. Weighing only 17 oz at birth, she faced a long road ahead, but we were fortunate to be at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Over the next 4.5 months in the NICU and ICC, overcoming set-backs and multiple surgeries; Samantha triumphed.
Today, Samantha is 4 years old and still has her daily challenges, but she works extremely hard. She has multiple therapy appointments (PT, OT, Speech, Swim) every week to improve her gross and fine motor skills and is an inspiration to those around her. She loves her therapists, preschool, and family and always has a smile on her face.
