Support me in The Washburn Games
For my Bar Mitzvah, I decided to raise money for an organization that that focuses on child trauma and child abuse. I chose Washburn Center for Children as the best option because of the facts that:
1)Washburn is a non-profit, which shows that they realize that these children need help more than the therapists need money, and
2)Washburn has been helping children succesfully for 133 years. That's over a century's worth of doing what has needed to be done not for themselves, but for others.
But they were never alone. People like you were with them all along, people who were willing to think about others' needs. Who were willing to donate to such an important organization not for themselves, but for others.
There are many people who need you to help them overcome everyday horrors that no one deserves to experience, and the easiest way for you to do that is to donate money. Please, for the sake of thousands of individuals who need your help, donate as much money as you are comfortable with to Washburn Center for Children. Every dollar counts.
And remember, the more that you donate, the more lives you are helping. You can be a huge factor in helping children who have experienced trauma.

How will the money I raise make a difference?
Your donation supports Washburn Center for Children - a 133-year-old nonprofit helping children who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression or behavioral problems.
A parent or teacher wouldn’t think twice about getting help for a child suffering from a physical injury. Washburn Center for Children ensures caregivers also have a resource to help kids who are hurting on the inside - because children’s mental health is as important as their physical health.
