Dear Friends, 

Last year, Christine and I had such fun golfing together, we signed up to do it again.  It's actually quite romantic romping around a beautiful golf course, alone, with your spouse at your side.  (Not gonna say we didn't fall behind a few holes as a result.)  Anyways, it's not about us - even though if you're giving to our team, it kind of is...a bit.  

In any case, we are trying to raise $2,500.  That sounds like a lot, but you all came through last year with that, plus change!

A lot can happen in a year's time, so don't feel bad if you can't give this year, or if you have to cut back.  With 4 kids ourselves, we totally understand.  

But there might be others of you who, I don't know, discovered lost pirate treasure in your back yard, or found a previously unknown copy of the Constitution in a frame you bought at a garage sale.

It happens.  

If so, please consider giving a portion of your windfall to support the Whetstone Golf Classic, which raises money each year to support our mission to sharpen the character of young men and shape a brighter future with their families.
