A3D, Inc. is excited to come together to share our love of African Djembe Drumming in Care Dimensions 39th Annual Walk for Hospice, a fundraiser supporting Care Dimensions. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference! Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
A3D, Inc. began in January of 2004 when a group of twelve friends, acquaintances and strangers traveled to Senegal on the journey of a lifetime. While there, they dreamed that they could make a difference in this world if they put their minds, energy, and resources together and from that dream, A3D, Inc. became a reality!
As a group, they were very touched by the social values of the Senegalese people, experiencing their trust and hospitality. They were also impressed by how the local people kept their lives going without help and without many resources.
On May 6, 2004, they incorporated a non-profit organization, A3D, Inc. which means African Development through Drum and Dance. In the past, A3D, Inc. has participated in a number of projects both locally and abroad. They have provided school desks and computers to the AEDEC school in Dakar, Senegal, organized and participated in the Salem Culture Fest for a number of years, provided much-needed medical equipment to hospitals in West Africa, served a meal at Lifebridge in Salem, collected and sent clothing to Senegal, provided solar irrigation systems to farmers in Senegal, and drummed and participated in the Walk for HAWC. This year we are excited to have the opportunity to participate, drum and fundraise for the first time for Care Dimensions 39th Annual Walk For Hospice!
