Andrew and I started our adoption journey for Aislinn back in 2003.Thru a few bumps in the road our paperwork for China was log in date was April 2007. By this time China's wait  for a non SN young girl was 18 months and growing longer. As we waiting for our daughter our faith was strong that when the time was right God would place the right child in our arms. When the wait hit 2010 we decided to look into the special needs program and submitted our application in May 2010. Not 72 hours later did we get a phone call asking if we would look at a file of a 25 month old who had Epilepsy & Microcephaly. We did our Epilepsy, took the file to a specialist and after talking it over knew that this was the child we were meant to parent! We traveled to China in March of 2011, when Aislinn was placed in her daddy's arms with a big smile and a mouth full of funyons. It was love at first sight ! Since coming home our chipmunk has been diagnosed with Mild cp, GDD & is non verbal. Her smile lights up our life and her laughter us music to our ears.
