Walk With Us. Celebrate With Us. Make a Difference.

Join Easterseals Western & Central PA for our 3rd Annual Walk With Me York/Harrisburg, a morning of community, compassion, and connection — all set against the unforgettable backdrop of Lake Tobias Wildlife Park.

This family‑friendly walk winds through a portion of the wildlife park, giving participants the rare chance to stroll past grazing animals, hear the sounds of the safari, and enjoy the beauty of nature while supporting children and adults with disabilities and their families.

Registration includes snacks, entertainment, commemorative t-shirt, all-day entrance to the accessible park and safari tour. Everyone is welcome — families, teams, workplaces, community groups, and individuals who want to make a meaningful impact.

Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. with the walk starting at 9:15 a.m.

Meet Our Ambassador, Clem

Clement is a 21‑year‑old from north‑central Pennsylvania who loves roller coasters, music, and being around people. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at age two, he has worked hard—with support from his family, teachers, and therapists—to thrive in school and in the community. He proudly uses his walker or wheelchair to get everywhere he wants to go and was honored as both Student of the Month and Prom King in high school.

He joined Camp Lily two years ago after realizing he needed a camp with more accessible activities. From his very first weekend, he felt at home. Camp Lily’s adaptive walkways, swimming, ziplining, and climbing let him participate fully, and his booming laughter is a familiar sound in the cabins and dining hall.

Clement has built strong connections with counselors like Fred, Tom, Ivy, and director Nick. One of his favorite memories is driving a water‑wheelchair in the pool to help a visiting research team—a perfect mix of fun and independence.
