Clement is a 21‑year‑old from north‑central Pennsylvania who loves roller coasters, music, and being around people. Diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at age two, he has worked hard—with support from his family, teachers, and therapists—to thrive in school and in the community. He proudly uses his walker or wheelchair to get everywhere he wants to go and was honored as both Student of the Month and Prom King in high school.
He joined Camp Lily two years ago after realizing he needed a camp with more accessible activities. From his very first weekend, he felt at home. Camp Lily’s adaptive walkways, swimming, ziplining, and climbing let him participate fully, and his booming laughter is a familiar sound in the cabins and dining hall.
Clement has built strong connections with counselors like Fred, Tom, Ivy, and director Nick. One of his favorite memories is driving a water‑wheelchair in the pool to help a visiting research team—a perfect mix of fun and independence.
