"I'm participating to better understand the needs of Aurora, Inc. and how we, as a community, can help fulfill its mission. As Director of Communications for the Mayor's Office/City of Evansville, it's my responsibility to keep residents informed — not only about our community's successes but also our challenges. Through this experience, I hope to be a better public servant and learn how we can help our city's most vulnerable population."

Aurora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and near homeless in the Greater Evansville, IN area. Each year, it serves over 350 individuals: men, women, children, seniors, those with disabilities, and the re-entry population. 

The Homeless Experience Project is Aurora’s new fundraiser and awareness event and its purpose is to bring a greater understanding of the struggles the families and individuals face when homeless in our community. If you'd like to support Aurora, please donate to my fundraising page!
