My Personal Fundraising Page

We are raising funds to help provide our son with a service dog that will greatly improve his safety, independence, and quality of life. Our son has Autism, sensory processing disorder, behavioral challenges, and a tendency to elope, which means he may run off unexpectedly and put himself in danger.

A trained service dog would be life-changing for him and our family. The dog will help provide comfort during meltdowns, offer grounding support during overwhelming moments, and assist with emotional regulation. Most importantly, if he elopes, the dog can help track and locate him quickly, adding an extra layer of safety and peace of mind.

This service dog is more than a companion—it will be a tool for protection, support, and daily stability. We are asking for help to make this possible for our son. Any donation, share, or prayer means the world to our family. Thank you for supporting our journey and helping us give him the care and safety he deserves.

Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
