Our daughter, Avery, is a beautiful little girl who has been diagnosed with TBR1 syndrome, a very rare genetic condition that affects her development. Avery is nonverbal and faces daily challenges similar to autism and cerebral palsy, but she continues to show us strength, resilience, and joy in her own unique way. She is 8 years old and lives in Hillsboro, OH. 

We are raising funds to bring a life-changing service dog into Avery’s life through 4 Paws for Ability. These highly trained dogs provide more than companionship—they offer safety, independence, and emotional support.

A service dog will help Avery by:

Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
