Gideon was born 2 months early and born severely addicted to drugs.  The drug usage by his birth mom resulted in Gideon having brain damage.  He has Cerebral Palsy, Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome, OCD, severe anxiety, Cortical Visual Impairment, and epilepsy. Despite or maybe inspite of all that Gideon is still thriving with the help of his current service dog Herry Monster.
 

But Herry is ready for retirement/promotion.  He will move from service dog to supervisor of the new service dog!  Herry is ready to teach the next generation just how Gideon likes to be cuddled.  How Gideon likes to rub Herry's ear when he's feeling stressed, and what he smells like when he is about to have a medical episode. 

Please help Gideon reach his goal for a new service dog.  And help Herry move into retirement!

Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon.
