My Personal Fundraising Page

Hello! Madelynn is a 4.5 year old sweet girl. She loves to play outside and absolutely loves to swim and do gymnastics! Madelynn was diagnosed with severe (level 3) autism when she was 2 years old. Madelynn has been in therapy since she was 18 months of age. Madelynn struggles mostly with behavioral, communication, social, and basic living skills. Madelynn is non verbal but uses her AAC device and is learning it like a champ! She learns best through naturalistic teachings and child led play. Madelynn has grew up with animals and had a dog whom passed from old age. She carries around her picture around still and every time she sees a dog, she smiles and laughs. She was so excited when we told her she was approved for a service dog! Our family will need help fundraising for cost of her service dog. Madelynn could benefit in so many ways from having one, including deep pressure input, blocking and "tattling" to keep her safe, and also with social and coping skills. Thank you so much for reading this and any share or donation helps Madelynn get closer to getting a service dog. God Bless!

Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
