Trigg is a sweet, bright, incredibly smart and active 4 year old who loves his family, animals, and being outdoors. He has a tremendously big heart, cares deeply, and always wants to lend a helping hand. His favorite things to do are go to the farm, zoo, beach, and swimming! Trigg is also autistic, and experiences the world in a unique way. This affects how he is able to move about his world, especially in activities throughout the community when his experiences lead to elopement. Additionally, Trigg's dad is actively serving in the military, requiring the family to make frequent moves and adjust to new homes, people, and community environments. 
Our goal is to provide Trigg with a service dog trained to assist with behavior intervention, tethering, and tracking to significantly increase his ability to safely access and engage in his community. Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
