Delaney's Journey

In November of 2022, my dear friends Clay and Jennifer Dykes noticed some concerning changes with their daughter Delaney's vision and stability. After a visit with their family pediatrician, an MRI was ordered and on December 16, 2022, a large mass was revealed on her brain stem.

Delaney has been diagnosed with a very rare Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma.

The doctor has shared that Delaney's type is 1% or less of all the pediatric brain tumors diagnosed. At only 4 years old, Delaney has already endured so much - receiving chemo and undergoing surgery so she can fight this cancer.

I desperately want to help Delaney in her battle but I also know there are many others that need help. Please help me raise funds for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation because no family or child should have to navigate a pediatric cancer diagnosis which is why more research is needed. Our children deserve more!

Thank you,

Dennis Hakes
